Coaching and Get It Done

The qualities that will define great leadership in the next decade are not technical. They are human.

For leaders ready to build those qualities deliberately.

Here is what your peers are saying.

"Rachel is an exceptional coach. She is able to connect deeply to understand and guide individual leadership growth. She designs actionable techniques to help move you forward towards goals, in ways that are easily adapted into every day. Embarking on my first executive leadership role, Rachel's coaching has been an invaluable support tool, building confidence and helping me grow into my new Executive role."

Nicole Williams, Head of Jobs, Trade Me

"I came to coaching with Rachel at a point where I was technically very capable but starting to recognise that the next level of my career required something different from me as a leader. Rachel has a rare ability to get to what's actually going on quickly, without it feeling like an interrogation. She's direct, warm, and deeply practical. The questions she asked in our sessions stayed with me long after we finished, and the way I think about my role and my team genuinely shifted. I'd recommend her to any senior leader who's ready to do the real work."

Tulsi Patel, Global Head of Finance, Lunit International (formerly Volpara Health)

"Rachel coached me through one of the more demanding periods of my career as a CEO, and the experience was unlike any coaching I'd had before. She has an exceptional ability to hold the complexity of what it means to lead an organisation while also keeping you grounded in what actually matters. She's rigorous without being rigid, and she brings a kind of hard-won wisdom from her own years of senior leadership that most coaches simply don't have. I came away from our work together with more clarity, more confidence, and a much better relationship with how I make decisions under pressure."

Auriga Martin, CEO and Founder

You spent years mastering your instrument. Now you need to become the conductor.

In the AI era, action is cheap. Judgement is everything.

The ability to stay grounded under pressure. To make good decisions in ambiguity. To hold people accountable while caring for them. To lead in a way that is substantive, supportive, and sustainable.

These are skills, and they can be built.

Most of the leaders who come to work with me are not struggling because they lack capability. They are struggling because the operating model that made them excellent is no longer fit for what the role now requires. They hold everything together. They look like they have it. Privately, they are not sure it is sustainable.

The gap between how we see ourselves and how we actually operate is where most leadership problems begin. Research from Tasha Eurich (Harvard Business Review, 2018) found that 95% of people believe they are self-aware. Studies suggest only 10 to 15% actually are. AI is the most confident entity in the room. It never hesitates. It always has an answer. The human who can say "that answer is technically correct but wrong for this moment" is the person with the real advantage.

That is the work we do together.

You'll find yourself in one of these.

The experienced leader ready to lead differently.

You have achieved a lot. But something isn't translating. You are excellent at what you do, and you know it, but the gap between that and how you actually show up as a leader is getting harder to ignore. You want to close it.

The founder who has outgrown hustle.

You have built something real. Now the challenge is not growth, it is people. You have moved from doing the work to leading the work, and that shift is harder than you expected.

The expert who became the boss.

You were brilliant at your craft and got promoted for it. Now you are leading a team and quietly wondering if everyone can tell you are figuring it out as you go. You do not need another book. You need tools that work in your actual situation.

The new executive.

You have just stepped into your first senior role. You are excited and capable, but you are realising that leading at this level asks something completely different of you. You want to build confidence fast, without faking it.

I have been in the room.

I've been in the room during large, complex, global organisational transformation.

At Shopify I led through three of these. First, their incredible expansion during the Covid expansion of online retail. Second, their complete adoption of remote-first work, when most of the world were still heading back to the office. Third, the AI rollout, which remains one of the most comprehensive and all-encompassing, with two years of lessons learned on a path that most organisations are just starting now.

I know what it feels like to lead under great pressure. To make hard calls without a playbook. To build high-performing teams across cultures and time zones. To hold accountability and care at the same time.

I am an accredited coach and a trained mediator. My approach draws on Integral Coaching methodology, neuroscience, and 25 years of real experience in what actually works when the pressure is on.
